ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The workshop begins with your arrival in New Delhi.  The first part is dedicated to traditional and modern embroidery techniques.  You will work with local artisans to create your designs. We also visit colourful bazaars for sourcing, cultural sites and museums.

The second part takes place in Jaipur, Rajasthan and is dedicated to traditional printing, dying and pottery.  The workshops focused on traditional weaving are taught by indigenous peoples of the mountains region of Kullu in Himachal Pradesh.

In all locations, the program includes atelier visits, talks by entrepreneurs and industry experts.  There is also time set aside for experiences and excursions to the main tourist attractions.
